Mad Max: Fury Road

Mad Max: Fury Road

From director George Miller, originator of the post-apocalyptic genre and mastermind behind the legendary “Mad Max” franchise, comes “Mad Max: Fury Road,” a return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky. Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max (Tom Hardy) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron). They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

Our Review:5-stars

One Hell of a ride i knew from the trailer that this was going to be a crazy film and knowing how the Mad Max films are i figure i was in for a hell of a movie. Now after seeing it i can say it was one crazy as hell movie on every level.  The acting was top notch from everyone in the film. The director who directed  the other films in the series is back in this film. This is the same director who directed Happy Feet.  He did an outstanding job in this film and he did not hold back. This film has some great acting scenes , great chase scenes and great acting. Overall the fans of the series will love this film and go nuts like they did for the 1979 version.  This is one film you don’t want to miss it worth every penny of the admission price.

5-stars

In a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, two rebels just might be able to restore order: Max, a man of action and of few words, and Furiosa, a woman of action who is looking to make it back to her childhood homeland.

This movie was really good. The action was awesome and a lot of things went BOOM!!! Max was crazy and I know he plays Bane in Batman, and he still sounded like Bane to me and they had a muzzle on him. That was a lot of action just to save the wives of Immortan Joe. My favorite characters were Nux, Toast the Knowing, Max and Furiosa. I really liked the rock band car that just followed and didn’t really do much. It was just there. Immotan Joe was weird and creepy. I wonder why he was wearing that creepy mask with the mouth on it. Furiosa and Max were good with their roles and were great at kicking butt. The wives did a lot of work for being pregnant. They were all sorts of things.
