End of Watch “Review By Paul Perkins”
A Gripping Drama Not To Be Miss”
With the awards season coming up it nice to see a nice drama comes out that it powerful and gripping. End of Watch” Which in police terms means officer dead” is about two LAPD officers Taylor and Zavala as they patrol the city’s meanest streets of south central Los Angeles. The film creates a riveting portrait of the city’s most dangerous corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay.
The two main stars of the film are Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena and they was a great team they seems to be the right choice for theirs roles and they look the part and acted the part perfectly.
The director David Ayer who also made other cops film like Training Day (He Wrote) he must have been a cop in a previous life because he does a great job of telling cop stories. The film had the cloverfield look to it and it will make u dizzy if you get sick easily with that type of film making.
With a crowed weekend of films that came out over the weekend this was one of the best of the week and not to be miss check it out today.
